Byrd. Tallis. Nirvana. The Queen's Six give a half hour recital expressing the diversity of their repertoire.
Well, term has resumed at St George's Chapel, so for all of us at Q6 it's back to the rhythms of daily sung worship. Even during term we keep busy with plenty of private engagements - weddings, recitals and concerts - here and there, as well as preparing for our next big project:
We're thrilled to announce that The Queen's Six have recently agreed a three album record deal with acclaimed digital label, Resonus Classics. Recording will take place in a series of late night sessions at the end of Sep/early Oct, and we cannot wait to get stuck in!!
We had such an amazing time on our tour of Bavaria and Austria. Thank you to all our supporters here and abroad - you made it happen! For details on our destinations and experiences, please check out our tour blog!
The Queen's Six are a male vocal group from Windsor Castle, England, made up of two countertenors, two tenors, a baritone and a bass.
By day, they are part of the Choir of men and boys who sing in the Queen's Free Chapel of St George for the daily services.
Outside of Chapel, Q6 are recording and live performance artists, with a repertoire spanning sacred and secular vocal music from the Middle Ages to the present.
On this website, you can hear and see them at work, and find out how to book them for your next concert or event.
