The Queen's Six

This month we will be recording some new seasonal arrangements for free online release in the run up to... that thing that happens at the end of December. Below you'll see we've uploaded a little taster, an excerpt from our first run through, complete with comedy sound FX from Tenor 2! Seriously, if you can get through these cheesalicious tunes without corpsing, the job's yours.

As you may know, we have recently agreed a three album record deal with acclaimed digital label, Resonus Classics. Recording for the first of these took place in a series of late night sessions in October. We can't wait to share the results with you online and at our launch concerts. Watch this space for details!

Meanwhile, term continues for us here at St George's Chapel with the rhythms of daily sung worship. Even during term we keep busy with plenty of private engagements - weddings, recitals and concerts.

Don't forget about our latest tracks which you can enjoy here or by visiting our SoundCloud. They're also free to download! Watch this space or follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more news.

By day, they are part of the Choir of men and boys who sing in the Queen's Free Chapel of St George for the daily services.

Outside of Chapel, the memebers of Q6 are recording and live performance artists, with a repertoire spanning sacred and secular vocal music from the Middle Ages to the present.
